GEWA focuses on Sales and Marketing with its partner suppliers.

Consequently GEWA is holding a series of conferences to develop this project at international level and subsequently implement at the local, national level. The first meeting in this series was held at the ABB Stotz-Kontakt facilities, located in the beautiful town of Heidelberg, Germany.

Representatives from each GEWA member country and their ABB country counterparts discussed national and European joint ventures, after enjoying a pleasant evening in Heidelberg historical centre with Mr. Adalbert Neumann (Senior VP Distributor Channel Management), Mr. Bernd Wagner (Key Customer Management) and Patxi Recondo (ABB coordination with GEWA) as perfect hosts.

We could share all different local contexts and views, and suggest different marketing ideas to enhance the sales, which will be developed in each country.

Havells-Sylvania was the next partner supplier to host a Sales-Marketing Meeting with GEWA.

Mr. Martin Multhaupt acted as our excellent host and invited all to a marvelous dinner along the river Rhine. GEWA members met with counterpart country managers from Havells-Sylvania and shared experiences and views on how to develop marketing and sales strategies to enhance the business.

The subsequent national meetings are being held in order to establish the appropriate action in each country. We expect to have significant results by the last quarter of this year.

GEWA is already arranging dates for future European Sales and Marketing Meetings with all our partner suppliers, as those held to date are already bearing fruit.
